Exhibitions of the Picture Gallery
About exhibition
You can visit all the permanent and temporary exhibitions of the Picture Gallery of the Pskov Museum. Across three floors more than three hundred works by Russian artists are on display, reflecting four centuries of Russian art — from the 18th century to contemporary art. But before arriving at the Picture Gallery itself, visitors will view an exhibition of portraits created in the 18th–20th centuries that are not included in the Gallery's main collection. Guests will see works by both lesser-known artists and celebrated masters such as S. Zaryanko, I. Kramskoi, V. Makovsky, P. Sokolov, K. A. Somov, P. de Rotari, K. L. Khristineka and others. Some of the portraits are being shown for the first time.
