Picture Gallery Exhibitions
About exhibition
You can visit all the permanent and temporary exhibitions of the Picture Gallery of the Pskov Museum. On three floors more than three hundred works by Russian artists are displayed, reflecting the history of Russian art across four centuries — from the 18th century to contemporary art. But before entering the Picture Gallery, visitors will view an exhibition of portraits created in the 18th–20th centuries that were not included in the gallery's main exposition. Guests will see works by both lesser-known artists and renowned masters: S. Zaryanko, I. Kramskoi, V. Makovsky, P. Sokolov, K. A. Somov, P. de Rotari, K. L. Khristineka and others. Some of the portraits are being shown for the first time.
