Exhibitions of the Historical and Art Museum (for children)
About exhibition
The Historical and Art Museum opened its doors in 1988 and currently consists of four exhibition rooms: the local history hall, the Hall of Military Glory, the "Lukhovitsky Cucumber" hall, and the Tower of Nature. In the first, visitors learn about the history of the native region, how their ancestors lived, what the region is famous for, and what contribution its residents made to the country's development. The second hall presents information about Lukhovitsy residents who participated in the Great Patriotic War (World War II) and how they endured those times. The third room tells the story of the cucumber business, cucumber cultivation techniques, the secrets of vegetable preserving, and recipes. In the Tower of Nature you can get acquainted with the inhabitants of the Lukhovitsy forests.
