About exhibition
The Art Gallery's exhibition is extensive and diverse in its composition. Visitors will see here Princess M. K. Tenisheva's collection of Old Russian art, and works by V. A. Tropinin, I. K. Aivazovsky, A. I. Kuindzhi, V. A. Serov, I. E. Repin, K. A. Korovin, A. N. Benois, L. S. Popova and other masters of Russian art. The gallery also presents a collection of works by Western European artists: Italian, Dutch, Spanish, French and German painting and sculpture. The names of many artists, such as B. Strozzi, G. Pellegrini, S. Lyutikhays, J. Asselyn, are not often encountered in Russian museum collections.
