Exhibitions of the Khakass Museum
About exhibition
On the first floor is the permanent exhibition "Ancient Art of Khakassia." It brings together works of the region's visual art from the Neolithic to the Late Middle Ages. The permanent exhibition "Memorial Room of Leonid Romanovich Kyzlasov" displays the personal belongings of the well-known scholar that he used in daily life and during field expeditions. One of the most unique exhibits is the "Yurt — the traditional dwelling of the Khakas people." The "Hall of Military Glory of the Republic of Khakassia" in the museum comprises several thematic zones: the complex "Morning of June 22, 1941"; the complex "Banners"; and the culminating part of the hall — the "Heroes" complex. There is also an interesting service: museum visitors can write and send a postcard directly from the Khakass National Museum of Local History named after L. R. Kyzlasov.
