Lev Bardamov Gallery is one of the private museums that has become well-known among residents and visitors of Ulan-Ude. The museum contains 18 halls. It houses 48,000 exhibits related to the local history and more than 5,000 paintings by Buryat artists. This does not include the extremely rare books that once belonged to merchants, townspeople and ordinary residents of the town of Verkhneudinsk. The gallery is listed in the catalog of the Association of Private and People's Museums of Russia. The institution makes a valuable contribution to fostering patriotism among students and helps to instill in children a sense of dignity and pride, responsibility and hope, revealing the true values of family, nation and Motherland.
