The historical exhibition tells the story of the Upper Kama region from ancient times to the 1980s. Special attention is paid to the role of the Stroganovs in the development of the Perm lands, to Ivan Ivanovich Lyubimov and the construction of the Berezniki Soda Plant, to the building of the chemical giant on the Kama — the Berezniki Chemical Complex, and to the history of the city of Berezniki. The art gallery exhibition covers the period of the region's artistic and cultural life from the late 16th century to the turn of the 20th–21st centuries (Perm wooden sculpture, old icons, paintings by serf artists, works by Soviet artists, sculpture, contemporary artists).
