About exhibition
The territory of the Pskov Kremlin, or Krom as it is also called, is located on a limestone cape at the confluence of two rivers — the Pskova and the Velikaya. The Kremlin comprises the area of Dovmont Town — an open-air archaeological museum (1.5 ha) — and the Krom (3.5 ha). Dovmont Town began to form from the late 13th century as the administrative and religious center of the Pskov land, with no parallel in Russia. On its territory are the Vlasyevskaya Tower with an attic viewing platform and the Prikaznaya Chamber (17th century). A permanent exhibition, "The Prikaznaya Chamber — the center of the administrative organization of the Pskov land in the late 17th–early 18th centuries," and temporary exhibitions are held there. A single ticket (valid for one day) includes admission to the grounds of the Pskov Kremlin and also allows access to the curtain walls, the Vlasyevskaya and Ploskaya towers, and the Prikaznaya Chamber (excluding commercial exhibitions).
