The exhibition 'Zvenigorod. From Earth to Heaven' is housed in the northern exhibition hall of the Manege. It presents the historical trajectory of Zvenigorod and the extensive territory associated with it over several centuries within the framework of the Zvenigorod principality, uyezd, and district. The exhibition introduces visitors to architectural monuments of Zvenigorod and historical relics of the ancient town that are exceptional in artistic value. The structure of the exhibition is built around key figures in Zvenigorod's history—princes and saints, tsars and emperors, artists, writers, and musicians—who made distinctive contributions to the historical destiny of Zvenigorod and the Zvenigorod region. Some of them made important urban-planning decisions and erected majestic structures. Others dedicated to the city unsurpassed masterpieces of painting, music, and literature, which glorified it and thereby brought its name to nationwide prominence. Still others realized a spiritual ideal of life and, even after their earthly path ended, continue to attract a significant number of followers and admirers in their name. Such personalities, endowed with extraordinary talent and willpower, weave the city's fate into the broader context of world culture. Original museum objects in the exhibition are complemented by state-of-the-art audiovisual multimedia equipment. The innovative methodology applied in creating the exhibition significantly expands the possibilities of traditional exhibition narration.
