On the 1st floor of Pavlovsk Palace are the living apartments of the Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna. Seven interiors, finished in the early 19th century by architects D. Quarenghi and A. Voronikhin, represent an outstanding example of artistic design and harmony between architecture and furnishings. The Anteroom, the Valet's Room, the Pilaster Cabinet, the "Lantern" Cabinet, the toilette (dressing room), the bedroom, and the "Tent" Cabinet form the only surviving suite of apartments from that era, with finishes and furnishings that reflect the everyday life and tastes of the early 1800s. The exhibition can be visited independently (self-guided). Admission to the exhibition is valid only with a ticket for the main exhibitions "State Rooms of the Palace (2nd floor)" and "Living Rooms (1st floor)". Available with the "Pushkin Card". Students under 16 can obtain free tickets at the museum ticket office for the park and all exhibitions upon presentation of an identity document.
