About exhibition

In the exhibition hall of the Borodino Museum city branch visitors can explore classical and contemporary art. The hall displays works by Soviet artists such as S. Gerasimov and I. Gorokhov, as well as paintings by contemporary Russian artists like E. Dolgachev and others. In addition, museum visitors are introduced to traveling exhibitions from Russian museums. Alongside artworks, the exhibitions feature items of decorative and applied arts, graphic sheets, watercolors, and the uniforms and weapons of the opposing armies from the Napoleonic Wars. The exhibited items come from the collection of the Borodino Field Museum-Reserve.
