Exhibition Hall Exhibition
About exhibition
Since 1972 the exhibition hall has been the home of the Union of Artists of the Amur Region. In the late 1990s and early 2000s it was transferred to municipal ownership and leased. In 2019 the exhibition hall became part of the Amur Regional Museum of Local Lore named after G. S. Novikov‑Daursky. The first significant art project held in this hall was the All‑Russian exhibition "Images of War." It was organized by the Art Fund together with the Moscow Union of Artists, and the curator was the art historian and Union board member Pyotr Leonidovich Baranov. The exhibition hall not only displays works of visual art but also serves as a cultural and educational center. It regularly hosts festivals and lectures on contemporary art, master classes by established and emerging artists, as well as musical, theatrical and poetry evenings. The admission ticket allows visitors to view the permanent displays and temporary exhibitions. However, please note that the admission ticket does not include guided tours.
