In the pavilion of the Mikhailovsky Castle visitors can see exhibitions of children's artwork. The works presented at the exhibitions were created by children from different countries around the world from 1959 to the present. These include graphic art and painting, ceramics, bone and wood carving, collages, metal embossing, batik, and embroidery. The subject matter is wide-ranging: portraits, landscapes, still lifes, responses to historical events of the past and present, interpretations of works by well-known masters, holidays and everyday life, beloved animals, dreams and fantasies.
