The museum department "The Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" (Arsenal) is located in a building that is a federally protected cultural heritage site. It is the earliest monument of industrial architecture in Voronezh. The museum's exhibition is devoted to the history of the Voronezh Region during the Great Patriotic War. The core of the exhibition consists of authentic items from the museum's collections, totaling about 2,000 units. Materials on the Battle of Voronezh and the situation in the Voronezh Region in 1941-1945 are presented. Materials on the Nazi-fascist occupation of the western part of the Voronezh Region are presented separately. The displayed items demonstrate the bloody policy of the fascist "New Order" and many crimes of Hitler's collaborators: Italians and Hungarians.
