The Ulyanovsk Regional Art Museum has a collection of unique cultural monuments significant both for Russia and the world. Here you can see Western European art from various countries - Italy, the Netherlands, Holland, France and Germany - dating back to the Renaissance. In addition, the museum presents Russian art from the 18th century, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the history of world culture in all its key aspects. Visitors will encounter works by outstanding painters such as Valdés Leal, Luis Tristán, Simone Pignoni, Nicolas Largillière, Dmitry Levitsky, Fyodor Rokotov, Karl Bryullov, Alexander Ivanov and Ivan Aivazovsky. Few museums in the country can boast such a magnificent collection, showcasing works from the Meissen and Sèvres porcelain manufactories, the Imperial Porcelain Factory, as well as splendid sculptures, art bronzes and furniture.
