In the updated exhibition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, documentary evidence of the military feats of local people is presented. The contribution of women to bringing about Victory — who served in various military units — is widely represented: medical personnel (sanitary instructors, nurses, doctors), anti-aircraft gunners, radio operators, snipers, partisans, etc. Special attention is paid to the participation of Krasnoturyinsk residents in the Ural Volunteer Tank Corps, a unique military formation entirely created with funds raised by the local population. The exhibition features life-size models of a DZOT (pillbox) and a trench with a rifle firing position, full-size mock-ups of small arms, orders and medals, captured military gear, and the famous "black knife" of a soldier of the Ural Volunteer Tank Corps.
