Exhibition 'Tuapse: fort, posad, county town'
About exhibition
In the exhibition, visitors will learn about the history of Tuapse's founding, the life of the indigenous Adyghe people, and the first settlers who, in the second half of the 19th century, moved to the Black Sea coast in search of a better life. The documents on display recount interesting facts about the construction of the Tuapse seaport and the railway, and the development of trade and industry. The exhibition features many household items, including Adyghe shoes (koturny), a Russian samovar, an Armenian butter churn, a Ukrainian shirt (sorochka), a Czech bread plate, and others.
