About exhibition
The exhibition reveals the history of the negotiations and the conclusion of the Peace of Tilsit in 1807 between the emperors of France and Russia, Napoleon I and Alexander I, and the King of Prussia, Frederick William III. Special attention is paid to Queen Louise's personal meeting with Napoleon in Tilsit. The dominant exhibits are the texts of the peace agreements sealed by authorized representatives, and the ratification document of the Franco–Prussian peace treaty. The collection includes engravings, postcards, books, maps, medals, costume replicas, and fragments of weapons.
