The exhibition consists of several sections: paleontology, the contemporary ecosystems of Western Siberia, the mythology of the Khanty and Mansi peoples, and the region's centuries-old chronicle. In 'The Rhythm of the Biosphere' visitors learn about the remarkable nature of the Ob‑Irtysh region that has existed for hundreds of millions of years. Fossil remains of ancient plants and animals and modern dioramas allow visitors to assess the changes that have occurred during the evolution of the biosphere. In the 'Mythological Time' section, the traditional culture of the Ob‑Ugric peoples and the depiction of the natural wealth of the Priobye area are presented in the context of mythological legends and everyday artifacts.
