Exhibition 'Rare and Endangered Animal Species'
About exhibition
Based on current data from the International Red Data Book, the museum has brought together in a single display more than 40 animal species whose survival has been threatened by destructive human activity. Have you ever heard of the imperial woodpecker or the climbing hare, the spotted marsupial marten, or the flightless kagu? These animals are virtually impossible to encounter in the wild, and each such specimen in a museum is a great rarity. Visitors will see 42 species of unique animals, some of which no longer occur in the wild.
