Exhibition of the pavilion "Weapons of Valor"
About exhibition
The exhibition includes several sections dedicated to wartime events and the participation of Ulyanovsk heroes in battles: the defense of the Brest Fortress, Sevastopol, and Leningrad; the Battle of Moscow, Stalingrad, and Kursk; the liberation of right-bank Ukraine and Eastern Europe; and the capture of Berlin. The exhibition features photographs of front-line soldiers, orders, medals and original graphic works from the Lenin Memorial collection, as well as samples of World War II weaponry: the Mosin three-line rifle, the Degtyaryov anti-tank rifle, the Degtyaryov anti-tank machine gun, the Sudaev submachine gun, the Shpagin submachine gun, the Tokarev semi-automatic rifle, the TT pistol (Tula Tokarev), the Maxim machine gun, and a deep-sea naval mine.
