Exhibition of the pavilion 'Weapons of Valor'
About exhibition
The exhibition comprises several sections dedicated to wartime events and to the participation of Ulyanovsk heroes in battles: the defense of the Brest Fortress, Sevastopol, Leningrad, the Battle of Moscow, Stalingrad, Kursk, the liberation of right-bank Ukraine and Eastern Europe, and the capture of Berlin. The exhibition features photographs of front-line soldiers, orders, medals, and original graphic works from the collection of the Lenin Memorial, as well as examples of World War II weaponry: the Mosin three-line rifle, the Degtyaryov anti-tank rifle, the Degtyaryov anti-tank machine gun, the Sudaev submachine gun, the Shpagin submachine gun, the Tokarev self-loading rifle, the TT pistol (Tula Tokarev), the Maxim machine gun, and a deep-sea naval mine.
