Exhibition "The State Rooms of Emperor Paul I"
About exhibition
The ticket grants access to the State Rooms of Emperor Paul I in Mikhailovsky Castle — a unique architectural monument of the late 18th century. The program includes a tour of: the throne room with a restored interior from the era of Paul I; the ceremonial chambers of the imperial residence; and historical interiors that have retained elements of their original decoration. Visitors will learn about the architectural features of the castle, designed by Vincenzo Brenna and Vasily Ivanovich Bazhenov, and about the ceremonial life of the Russian court.
