Exhibition «Nikolai Khokhryakov — a Vyatka painter»
About exhibition
The house-museum of the artist Nikolai Nikolaevich Khokhryakov is a monument of the history and culture of the city of Vyatka. The building preserves an enfilade layout characteristic of civic architecture of the first half of the 19th century. The memorial exhibition includes paintings, studies, and graphic works by the Vyatka artist Nikolai Khokhryakov — a pupil of Ivan Shishkin — as well as photographs and memorial objects that recreate the atmosphere of the house where the master lived and worked. The house-museum of the artist Nikolai Nikolaevich Khokhryakov was opened to visitors on June 12, 1998 as part of the Vasnetsov Ring program.
