About exhibition
The exhibition is dedicated to N. G. Poletaev, his role in the formation of revolutionary Russia and the development of the city of Tuapse. The Tuapse Historical and Local History Museum proudly bears the name of the Russian revolutionary, comrade of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, and founder of Tuapse’s oil industry complex — Nikolay Guryevich Poletaev. One of the museum’s displays is devoted to him. The hall presents the interior of the Soviet statesman’s office. Visitors will see documents, personal belongings, photographs of a rank-and-file revolutionary, and learn about his political and public activities. Visitors can pay tribute to N. G. Poletaev, whose life and fate were closely connected with Tuapse, at the grave of the Bolshevik revolutionary, which is located on the museum grounds.
