The Museum Center of the Ryazan Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve is located 500 meters from the Ryazan Kremlin. The result of the work on the new building project and its exhibition was a modern museum space adapted to serve visitors of all categories. In December 2023 the first part of the center's large-scale exhibition opened. The "Before Our Era" section is devoted to the history of the Earth's formation and the appearance of humans, the "Beyond Earth" section tells the story of space exploration, and the "Habitat" section focuses on the formation of the region's natural complexes from prehistoric times to the present and on the influence of human activity on this process. The "Thousands of Years Before Us" section covers the early stages of settlement of this territory from the Bronze Age and the appearance of the first Slavic tribes. The Museum Center houses exhibition halls where temporary exhibitions are held.
