The exhibition is dedicated to the history of cinema development in Novonikolayevsk–Novosibirsk. The largest section is devoted to the behind-the-scenes workings of filmmaking. Here you can see items without which making a film is impossible: editing tables, film cameras, sound equipment, film stock, reels and much more. The exhibition also features photographs and objects from the private collections of well-known Novosibirsk filmmakers. Only here can you watch old silent films while seated in an authentic chair from a real cinema auditorium. Want to immerse yourself in the USSR era? Two televisions present a retrospective of Soviet documentary and feature films. Want to learn everything about Novosibirsk cinema? Come! The exhibition includes parts of a real editing workshop of a sound operator and a film director, and much more.
