The museum complex is located on a site of more than 50,000 square meters. Two buildings – the old locomotive depot and an impressive modern building – are connected by a glass gallery with a suspension bridge into a single space. The tour routes run through a collection of rare and legendary steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives, carriages and other railway equipment. Historical artifacts sit alongside working models, interactive installations and halls for temporary exhibitions, creating an unusual and engaging museum environment. The museum's exhibition will be a place where adults and children can learn about the history of railways and rail transport and discover a great deal about both modern and obsolete technologies and railway professions.
