Exhibition of the Museum "Submarine B-440"
About exhibition
You can visit a real combat vessel — a diesel-electric submarine built in 1969. You will walk along the first deck, where the combat compartments and the officers' and warrant officers' cabins are located, and learn why sailors' bunks were called "hot." You'll have the opportunity to see the mechanisms used to operate the vessel and to learn the basic principles of how a submarine functions. You can descend into the former battery compartments, which now house exhibitions about the history of the submarine fleet, climb onto the main deck, and fully appreciate how complex and dangerous the profession of a submariner is.
