Exhibition of the Y. P. Spegalsky Memorial Apartment Museum
About exhibition
In 1986, in the city of Pskov, with its unique 12th–17th century architecture, the only memorial museum in Russia dedicated to Yuri Pavlovich Spegalsky was opened — a researcher of medieval architecture, an architect-restorer, founder of the Pskov Restoration Workshops (1946), an artist and a master of decorative and applied arts. In the memorial museum you can see early 18th-century furniture and applied art items from the 17th–19th centuries (porcelain, ceramics, glass, decorative metalwork). In Yuri Pavlovich's study there is a library with rare editions on art, history, and local lore.
