Exhibition of the F. A. Tsander Museum of the History of Cosmonautics
About exhibition
The museum greets visitors with interesting exhibits introducing the history of space exploration. These include original documents of the outstanding inventor and designer of rocket and space technology Friedrich Arturovich Tsander, who died and is buried in Kislovodsk, a spaceflight suit, a shock-absorbing cosmonaut seat, samples of space food, unique photographs and colorful scale models. Four small but extremely information-rich halls tell the story of the life and creative work of N. I. Kibalchich, Y. V. Kondratyuk, K. E. Tsiolkovsky, S. P. Korolev, V. N. Chelomey and other scientists and inventors who opened the way to outer space for humanity.
