The Museum of the History of Siberian Architecture is the calling card of the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Arts. The museum was established thanks to the enthusiasm of Professor Sergey Nikolaevich Balandin. For many years he collected items related to the history of architecture in Russia and Siberia, which he later donated to the university. The museum's collection comprises approximately six thousand items. The three main themes to which the museum is dedicated are the history of Siberian architecture, the history of architectural education in Siberia, and the creative legacy of Siberian architects and urban planners.
