Exhibition of the Crystal and Glass Museum
About exhibition
The Museum of Crystal and Glass is housed in the building of the former Trinity Old Believers' Church. This realm of glass is a tribute to the talented artisans of Gus-Khrustalny — a town often called the "Russian Murano." Luxurious engraved goblets, decorative "golden ruby" glass pieces, uranium glass decanters, and purple and golden-brown vases in the Gallé style are far from the full list of the museum's exhibits. The exhibition features original works by prominent artists of the Gusevsky Crystal Factory: Evgeny Rogov, Vladimir Kasatkin, Adolf Kurilov, and Luiza Matosyan. The crowning piece of the exhibition is the vivid glass installation "Reminiscence of Venice," created by People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Muratov.
