Exhibition of the Museum of Wooden Architecture
About exhibition
Visitors can stroll through a small village typical of the Vladimir region. Wooden buildings, hewn by Russian master carpenters using only an axe and without nails, were brought here from across the region. Here you can visit a rural church and the homes of peasants of varying means, where interesting everyday household items of peasant life are displayed. In the center of the village is an unusual well with a large tread wheel. On the outskirts stand windmills; inside are the agricultural tools used for grinding grain. Detailed opening hours of the museum and its exhibitions are available on the website.
