The Museum of Everyday Life and Crafts of the mining-and-factory population is housed in one of the most interesting buildings of Nizhny Tagil — the Manor House. The first owner was Evdokia Deryabina. Later the estate was sold to the Administration of Plants of the Nizhny Tagil District. Distinguished guests from Moscow and St. Petersburg were received here; subsequently the house was used as departmental apartments for the administration and engineers of the Demidov factory. Visitors can learn about the everyday life of residents of the Nizhny Tagil factory settlement in the 19th–early 20th centuries, see traditional costumes of the period and the interiors of dwellings of representatives of various social classes. The exhibition features examples of diverse handicrafts, including unique birch-bark items, chests, embroidery and belts. Additional information: +7 (9090) 21-09-26.
