Exhibition of the Arkady Plastov Museum
About exhibition
The museum displays original works by a classic of Soviet visual art, People's Artist of the USSR and native of the village of Prislonikha in Ulyanovsk Oblast (formerly Simbirsk Governorate), Arkady Alexandrovich Plastov (1893–1972), from the collection of the Ulyanovsk Regional Art Museum. The museum closely cooperates with the Plastov family in organizing exhibitions. Visitors can see key works by the artist as well as works by his relatives, friends, and acquaintances: Honored Artist of the RSFSR Viktor Vasilyevich Kiselev (1907–1985), Dmitry Ivanovich Arkhangelsky (1885–1980), and Honored Artist of the RSFSR Nikolai Arkadyevich Plastov (1930–2000).
