The museum-patriotic complex comprises three sections: the "Museum of the Memory of the Victims of Nazism", the exhibition space "The Humane Weapon of Victory", and the "Museum of Siege Medicine". Each of these presents the specifics of medical care under wartime conditions and showcases the heroism of doctors who returned millions of soldiers to the front. In the "Museum of the Memory of the Victims of Nazism" you will see authentic items from the German concentration camps Majdanek, Auschwitz, and Buchenwald. Among the unique exhibits are a dress of a prisoner from Ravensbrück concentration camp, prisoner number patches, children's belongings, drawings by inmates, photographs taken during the Nuremberg Trials, and much more. The "Humane Weapon of Victory" space features artworks created especially for the Military Medical Museum that depict the work of medics during the Great Patriotic War on battlefields and in hospitals, models of evacuation equipment, medicines, extremely rare documents, and surgical instrument sets. The "Museum of Siege Medicine" is based on unique materials from the museum's "Siege Collection". The central exhibit is an original "polutorka", the GAZ-AA truck that transported Leningraders along the Road of Life accompanied by medics. Another important and striking item is the diary of nurse Faina Aleksandrovna Prusova. She worked throughout the siege at the Sofia Perovskaya Hospital, saving townspeople from wounds, infectious diseases, and avitaminosis.
