This museum venue is intended to become a place for popularizing the scientific ideas and the heroic life of M. V. Lomonosov. The project is based on the inseparable connection between the concept of the Russian North and the name of the great scientist. The relevance of his pedagogical ideas and his life as a native son serve as a lesson in life for a new generation of Russian youth. The exhibition includes authentic materials illustrating Lomonosov's work in various fields of scientific activity: collections of scientific instruments and equipment from natural-science laboratories of the 18th–19th centuries, household items, objects related to the educational environment, and other contemporaneous items connected with the life and work of the celebrated researcher. The centerpiece is a model of a chemical laboratory; the hall also features literature devoted to the life and work of the scientist.
