In the museum there is a collection of rare editions published during Gabdulla Tukay's lifetime and the poet's personal belongings, of which only seven have survived. Here you can learn about Tukay's great love and see his death mask. Rare photographs and documents, and memorial items from members of the poet's creative circle reflect the development of Tatar printed literature, educational reform, and the emergence of professional theatre. The historic museum building, one of the most beautiful in the Old Tatar Quarter, helps immerse visitors in the era. The interactive library Tukay Center reflects the significance of Tukay's heritage for Russia and the world. The museum's halls are equipped with modern multimedia equipment.
