The exhibition of the Rubtsovsk Local History Museum consists of ten exhibition halls, each telling the story of a different period in the city's history. Visitors can view documents from the archives of Barnaul and Rubtsovsk, photographs and household items of the early settlers: embroidered towels, a clay toy, original and reconstructed costumes (women's, men's, children's), and a variety of chests (a traveling chest, a large wooden chest, a large iron-bound chest) from the museum's ethnographic collection. A special place in the exhibition is devoted to the events of the Great Patriotic War and to the labor and military glory of the townspeople. On display are memorial complexes dedicated to L.G. Boyarov (participant in the Battle of Moscow), I.M. Golobokov (full cavalier of the Orders of Glory and honorary citizen of Rubtsovsk), and Heroes of the Soviet Union P.S. Pivnya and M.S. Batrakov. Visitors can learn about the events of the special military operation from the exhibition 'SVO: Time of Heroism'. In five display cases are the life stories of Rubtsovsk residents posthumously awarded the Order of Courage. Numerous models of tractors, plows and off-road vehicles are presented in the section devoted to the establishment and development of local industry. The daily life of townspeople in the second half of the 20th century is illustrated by furniture, clothing, footwear and even samples of perfumes and cosmetics. The tour concludes with a visit to the 'Nature and Ecology of the "Golden Altai"' hall. More than thirty taxidermied birds and animals native to the Rubtsovsk district provide a full picture of the richness of the region's flora and fauna.
