Exhibition "The Stable Yard at Kolomenskoye"

The Stable Yard complex at Kolomenskoye was recreated in 2005 based on old photographs of the village of Sadovniki. The estate was modeled on historic buildings that have not survived to the present day. Today the Stable Yard complex includes a manor house, a stable, a hayloft, a harness workshop, a carriage house for storing harnesses and carriages, a paddock for grazing horses, and a working forge. The main building houses the exhibition "The Horse — Man's Wings", dedicated to rural horse breeding and the history of its development.
