Exhibition "Colonnade of St. Isaac's Cathedral"
About exhibition
This is the main observation deck in the center of St. Petersburg, offering views of the city in all directions. A height of 43 meters is reached by old stone steps and modern metal structures. Visitors must climb 262 steps to see a panorama of St. Petersburg and the main sights of the city's historic center. While ascending, visitors have a unique opportunity to examine the cathedral itself up close: its belfries with bells reconstructed by the museum, the sculptural groups "Angels with Lamps", the engineering structures, the roof, and the granite columns, each weighing 64 tons, installed at bird's-eye level.
