About exhibition
The museum's exhibition includes five sections: 'Nature and Trades of the Angara Region', where you can see stuffed bears, hares, various species of birds, a boat with fishing gear and a hunter's winter shelter; 'Everyday Life of an Angara Family', which displays Angara household and craft items: a weaving loom, spinning wheel, sewing machine, cradle and other household items from the late 19th century; 'My Address — the Soviet Union': objects and realities of the Soviet era familiar to many, of pioneer childhood and Komsomol youth; a fully reconstructed interactive exhibition in the hall 'History of the Construction of the Boguchanskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant': an immersion into the 'river of time', the history of the Angara region from prehistoric people to modern electricity production technologies; the renovated Hall of Military and Labor Glory, where visitors can encounter the realities of life in the Kezhemsky district during the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945) and learn about the contribution to Victory by local residents: front-line soldiers and home-front workers.
