Exhibition of Cossack Household Life

About exhibition

The exhibition presents a reconstruction of a Kuban hut. All visitors will be able to see the conditions and setting in which the Cossacks lived, how they managed their households, what rules they followed, and how they maintained relationships within a large family. The exhibition also features interesting historical material that provides insight into the material culture of the Cossack population. Guests will not only be told about various, sometimes long-forgotten objects and traditions of Kuban everyday life, but will also be shown how the Cossacks lived in the Kuban.
