In the town center near the square stands the Dyurtyuli Historical and Local Lore Museum. It opened on March 24, 1989. Today the museum's collections hold more than 24,000 items. These are objects of cultural heritage of the peoples living in the Dyurtyuli district. The museum presents information about forest dwellers; the halls display finds from the Angasyakovskoe settlement: a necklace of yellow beads, a shoe buckle with a movable tongue, and an earring in the form of a ring with a bead. There are many exhibits related to the everyday life of the indigenous peoples. A Bashkir yurt and Bashkir household items are on display. The exhibition "National Clothing of the Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan" is particularly interesting. Among the museum's unique exhibits are 18th–19th century icons, church utensils, and books in Old Church Slavonic. Visitors can also see hoards of old coins, breastplates, early photographs, 19th-century furniture, and porcelain items from the Brothers Kuznetsov factory. In addition to permanent displays, the museum frequently organizes themed exhibitions.
