In the museum there is a unique collection dedicated to the history of local production. Having begun in 1954 as a small artisan workshop, it quickly grew into a full-fledged factory that produced not only traditional wooden toys but also items made of glass, papier-mâché, and composite materials. The "Toys from Wood Shavings" exhibition allows visitors to trace how toy technologies and design changed in the USSR: from wooden construction sets and glass Christmas tree ornaments to dolls, rubber toys, and metal construction sets. The core of the collection consists of items donated by residents of Krasnokamsk — authentic artifacts of children's life from the second half of the 20th century, including rare pieces. Today the exhibition has been supplemented with new archival materials revealing the secrets of the craftsmanship of Krasnokamsk artisans. This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Soviet childhood and to discover the art of the old toy-makers.
