Exhibition «I. P. Pavlov — Native of the Ryazan Region»
About exhibition
Ivan Petrovich Pavlov, the renowned scientist and Nobel Prize laureate, called his house in Ryazan "a tiny house with a mezzanine with three windows." This house was part of an old estate that belonged to Ivan's father, Petr Dmitrievich Pavlov. The museum displays numerous household items, personal belongings, documents, and photographs that tell about the life and upbringing of the children in the Pavlov family. Special attention is given to Ivan Pavlov — the first Russian Nobel Prize laureate in physiology. In the parlor, visitors are greeted by the "only speaking witness" — a music box that still astonishes with its unusual appearance.
