An exhibition spread across six halls devoted to the outstanding discoveries of Ivan Petrovich Pavlov, the first Russian Nobel Prize laureate in physiology. The exhibition is rich in unique exhibits that showcase the achievements of domestic medicine and physiology. In the museum display cases you can see the surgical instruments used in Pavlov's laboratory, as well as the book 'Lectures on the Work of the Principal Digestive Glands', which has become a classic. Special attention is given to a unique edition by George Henry Lewes, 'The Physiology of Common Life', published during the scientist's lifetime. Visitors will learn how researchers studied the functioning of the circulatory system and the heart, the stomach and the entire digestive system, the brain, and animal behavior.
