About exhibition
The museum complex's exhibition introduces the scientific biography of K. E. Tsiolkovsky, the founder of theoretical cosmonautics, the history of the development of rocket engineering in our country up to 1957, the main directions of space exploration, Earth's artificial satellites, unmanned interplanetary probes, and manned spaceflight. You will see unique examples of equipment, including originals that have been in orbit. Among them are launch vehicle engines; descent modules of the spacecraft Vostok-5, bearing the autograph of V. Bykovsky, and Soyuz-34, bearing the autograph of V. Lyakhov; personal cosmonauts' spacesuits; the Olympic torch that flew to space; and much more.
