Exhibition 'Unified Ticket. Route No. 2: Native Nature'
About exhibition
Nature Department + 'Kostromskaya Sloboda' architectural and ethnographic department. In the new building of the Nature Department of the Kostroma Museum-Reserve, the exhibitions 'Protected Kostroma' and 'Nature of the Kostroma Region' are on display. The exhibition is complemented by multimedia materials. The 'Kostromskaya Sloboda' architectural and ethnographic department is an open-air museum of wooden architecture. Unique wooden structures include the Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour (1713) from the village of Spas Vezhi and stilted 'black' bathhouses from the village of Vederki, which constitute a cultural phenomenon of peasant architectural heritage. Along the left bank of the Igumenka River, a village street composed of former homes of Kostroma peasants is gradually taking shape. The unified ticket is valid for one month after purchase.
